The patented armrest, which was awarded a silver medal as prize on the international Geneva inventor exhibition 1999, - the CAT to the computer-mouse - is useful to all computer users, who operate with the computer in time periods of longer duration than approx. 3 minutes, in particular at CAD DRAWINGS, with graphic and artistic work and exact movements with computer input devices like the mouse, character pin and keyboard. But even the used working in the WWW, Internet or pure drawing or operating on the desk surface also without a computer use already profit from this CAT; the lever and the shoulder area do not more fatigue with the well-known rate, since the lower arm rests upon the CAT and the hand floats quasi weightlessly over the desk surface.

The hand musculature does not any longer so fast cramp. An ergonomic lever attitude is achieved, which is missing without this mobile armrest. The lower arm remains during the movement on the support, so that it does not have to rest upon a cold desk or upon the changing positions of the desk; thus the diseases which were afraid with such work are avoided or reduced. By a mobility of approx. 1 m in lateral direction one can exactly lead and serve the mouse and the keyboard thereby, without having to take the lever off from the armrest.  

For longer keyboard work it is advisable even to use 2 of it, one support for to right lever and one for the left lever. The very easy mobility of the device is achieved by two springs built in the telescopic tubes and a swivel joint. The so mobile 'elastic cat' preferably is standing before the desk and with a foot on the floor. The device, which was used with the sitting work, can then be reduced by the telescope mechanics, so that it can also be placed after use when desired under the workbench. Thus you have then an unaffected workbench as used.
