The Mercury Leagues long awaited

The Mercury League
have pulled the rabbit out of the hat and come up with one of
the finest collections of melodic hardcore to have come out of

Sup
'Gimme 6'
Greystone/Total Sell Out
Cat No: GREYCD10
Release Date: April 25th 2005
Format: CD |
Fusing a mixture of punk, ska and
eye gouging metal, $UP already have a following in the UK
underground scene.
Sup could easily fill the gap
vacated by various bands as the UK's premier exponents of fast,
frantic melodic hardcore backed up by some inventive horn
lines...their melding of ska and frantic metallic punk is
nothing short of thrilling to hear...Vocalist Shaun's
distinctive style also helps $up to step away from the
crowd....$up are still hugely entertaining to listen to, such is
their unimpeachable vitality. - Punktastic

Coffin Nails
'Let's Wreck - The Gravest Hits'
Cherry Red Records
Cat No: CDMPSYCHO32
Release Date: 2004
Format: CD
|
This album is
excellent and covers their history from their debut (Ein Bier
Bitte) to last album (Hard As Nails) and if Psychobilly is your
poison then this is an album you've gotta add to your
collection. Some great tracks on here like 'Let's Wreck', 'She's
A Moose', 'No Way', 'When I'm Drunk' and 'Girl Next Door'. Even
their cover of 'Heartbreak Hotel' is pretty cool. For a band
with so many line up changes the main man from the Coffin Nails
'Humungus' can be proud of the original Rock N Roll tunes
they've been turning out for years. Buy this album and these
guys on tour as they've plans to both Europe and The USA!
(Anagram/Cherry Red) 10/10. - Full Frontal Recordings 2004

Said
by Mental Hell in Germany to be the BEST Coffin Nails album
ever. This album is in places darker and faster than ever

become synonymous with.
The band have combined their old-school psychobilly roots with
contemporary influences to give a wonderfully fresh sounding
album full of future anthems. |

These guys
influences are a caldron of new and old punk, hardcore and ska, with
even a touch of dub reggae and metal thrown in to spice things up. Some
where between Capdown, Link 80, Madness and Sublime. Don’t be misled
though, these guys have a sound all of their all own. Up-tempo songs
with catchy melodies and more energy than Powergen.
fine blend of Link 80 meets The Specials…thoroughly good fun… – Metal
Hammer
Impressively raging skacore… – Do The Dog Magazine (UK)

The COOKERS bring together break
beats, classic funk riffs and in your face rhymes. This isn't the same
