It's a Japanese tradition to pound mochi during the new year week and in happy occasions. The mochi is a Japanese Sticky Rice Cake. It's a pound steamed sticky rice.

There are two kinds of toppings. They are sweet Red beans and soy bean flour with sugar.

We , the MEDETAYA staff will perform the Japanese rice cake shows right in front of you.Participants from the audience are most welcome. For your convenience it will be performed in English.
