As we look
ahead to being re-appointed to serve with International Ministries, we are
doing so under IM's new model of mission support which involves our building
a Missionary Partnership Network (MPN) of individuals and churches who will
support our ministry through encouragement, prayer, and financial support.
Under this new model you or your church may make contributions to directly
support the costs involved in our living and serving in
Okinawa.
Individuals may fill out a prayer card which we can send to you and send it
with a check with "Ongoing Support - Turleys" written in the memo line
directly to International Ministries. ABC Churches may contribute to our
support by sending a World
Mission
Offering Directed Gift or Targeted Gift using your region's monthly mission
contribution form. Churches might also want to support us through the World
Mission
Offering with Directed Giving. One additional way is
through the American Baptist Churches International Ministries website.

(Click on this line)
 | This link will take you to the International
Ministries donation page. Once there, look for the "Southeast Asia &
Japan" block, then use the drop-down menu to
designate your gift to "David and Leslie Turley/ Okinawa.
At the bottom of the page is a block to include the name of your
home Church so they can receive credit for the Mission gift. Please
note-- this link is different from the one originally on the
IM website, it has been recently updated and improved. You can now
choose multiple recipients for your donations. |
 | International Ministries now require Missionaries to have 1/2 of their
support in place before being appointed. The Turleys are planning to return
to Okinawa in June, 2007. They will be required to have all support for the
first year in place at that time. If you have a heart for missions you can
help by donating to their ministry. Funds donated at the link below will go
to their credit if designated for them. Please visit the "About Us" page to
learn more concerning their ministry. Thanks, and God bless,
Jim Morrison, webmaster
