Breed Standard	The German Shorthaired Pointer is a medium-size hunting dog used primarily for finding, pointing, and retrieving upland game. The GSP is also a good companion as well as a watch dog. See the Breed Standard for more details.
Contacts	The German Shorthaired Ponter Club of California was founded in 1945. It is the oldest GSP Club in California and the largest in the U.S.A. See the Contacts page for Membership Information.
